Experimental Evaluating of the Physical, Mechanical and Durability Properties of Natural, Recycled and Both Combined Aggregates Based Concretes

This experimental study aims at the reuse of recycled aggregates (RA), resulting from demolition concrete, cement block and mortar, in manufacture common construction Burkina Faso. The RA can readily replace natural concrete. Then five formulations based concrete for characteristic strength 25 Mpa were prepared addition to base named reference (BN): two types (BR), three recycles combined (BC). properties characterized physical, mechanical durability also evaluated all specimens. All studied formulation present a density between 2000 kg/m3 ≤ ρ ≥ 2600 an average slump 4.9 ± 0.1 cm. obtained results indicate that are suitable current Two out combinations studied, such as (BN) aggregate (BC2) concretes satisfy characteristics (Rc28 > MPa) 28 days age absorption coefficient 2.93% 3.98%. (BR1, BR2) (BC1), gave respective compressive 21.55 MPa, 20.50 MPa 20.30 i.e. difference 13.80% 18.80% under (25 aimed age. Thus, conformity with normative prescriptions their use standard gives adequate production C20/25 series civil engineering applications.
